Mom of two. Wife. IT Manager by day. Crafty mom when I can find some free time.
A little crafty bio:
I learned to cross-stitch in the 5th grade when our class made cross-stitched Christmas ornaments. I did a few pieces on my own after that. Then, when I was 16, my very first job was at a cross-stitch store (back when such a thing existed). I worked there through high school and over college breaks. I also worked a little as a graphic artist’s assistance for a cross-stitch designer. In the needlework realm, I prefer hardanger and pulled thread techniques. But since kids arrived on the scene, I have done less and less needlework. In 1998 I learned about scrapbooking at a Creative Memories home class. I’ve been scrapping ever since, and became a consultant on the side in 2005. More recently I have picked up card making and various other crafty projects found on Pinterest.
