About

Mom of two.  Wife.  IT Manager by day. Crafty mom when I can find some free time.

A little crafty bio:

I learned to cross-stitch in the 5th grade when our class made cross-stitched Christmas ornaments.  I did a few pieces on my own after that.  Then, when I was 16, my very first job was at a cross-stitch store (back when such a thing existed).   I worked there through high school and over college breaks.  I also worked a little as a graphic artist’s assistant for a cross-stitch designer.  I have been an EGA member off and on since the mid-90s.  But since kids arrived on the scene, I have done less and less needlework.  Since moving to Florida in 2017 (and with both kids now being teenagers), I am hoping to pick back up on my favorite hobby!  I like most forms of embroidery, including cross-stitch, needlepoint, hardanger, pulled thread, surface embroidery, and more.
