I created these two cards in a class at the Creating Keepsakes convention in August. The stamps are “Gently Seasoned” from Paper Smooches. This class taught a few basic stamping techniques. My favorite was in the top card . . . . using a “reverse stamping” technique. Essentially, we used the BACK side of the leaf stamps to create a background for each leaf, then the front side in a darker color to create the lines of the leaf.
On this second card, the ideas were “rule of thirds” with offsetting the tree branch & stamping off the ink (multiple stamps before re-inking to get varying intensities). I like the buttons. 🙂 I am not usually good about adding dimension to my cards.
